Self-led visits with an educational rate – for Home Educating families available on set dates.

 

  • Lead your own visit, your way. Discover over 500 years of social, industrial and people’s history through the post. Explore communication stories that can support and inspire home learning.

    • Mail Rail ride and exhibition trail
    • The Postal Museum Exhibitions
    • Sorted! The Postal Play Space. Optional for children aged 8 and under.

     

    About the day
    There may be school bookings or adult group visits on the same day. Your visit is entirely self-led. You are welcome to use gallery trails which are available to collect in the Mail Rail and The Postal Museum Welcome spaces.

    Your ticket includes a time to ride Mail Rail. Mail Rail trains have a strict capacity to ensure we can offer a safe visit. It is important to arrive in time for your ride.
