Home Educators

We hold events for home educating families to visit us at a discounted rate.

Join us for a day of themed activities or book a self-led visit on set dates. During these events, the museum will be open to the public, and on self-led days, schools and groups may also be visiting.

All visitors require a ticket. Companions and under 2s go free but need a ticket.

Events have a recommended age range, but all are welcome.

The size and design of the ride carriages and the evacuation procedure means Mail Rail is not suitable for all visitors. The ride contains conditions that may be unsuitable for people with physical or mobility issues, small children, claustrophobia, or a pre-existing condition that could be made worse by loud noises, flashing lights or confined spaces.
