Take a ride for your imagination and join The Jolly Postman on his delivery round at The Postal Museum this May half term! Visitors can:

  • Ride on Mail Rail
  • Celebrate 40 years of The Jolly Postman in our interactive exhibition
  • Follow a family trail through our hands-on galleries
  • Become a jolly postie in Sorted! The Postal Play Space (not included in price of admission)
  • Take part in fun arts and crafts activities delivered in partnership with Faber-Castell (selected dates only)

What’s on

Get creative in our half-term arts and crafts activities using artist quality stationery from Faber-Castell. Activities are included in the price of the museum admission, but places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Wish You Were Here: A Jolly Postcard Adventure

Saturday 23 – Friday 29 May
10:00 – 16:00, drop in
Perfect for ages 3 and up
Takes place in the Mail Rail depot

Design your own postcard and write a message on the back. You could write all about your favourite holiday or an imagined adventure to Fairy Tale Land!

When you’re finished, deliver your postcard up the beanstalk for the Giant to read, or take it home to share your magical journey with friends and family.
