Thank your Postie: Christmas tree greetings cards

Follow in the footsteps of the Victorians and thank your Postie by making them a Christmas tree greetings card.

Many of our Christmas traditions began over 150 years ago by the Victorians. They sent the first Christmas cards, introduced the Christmas tree to England and gave tokens of appreciation to their posties at Christmas.

Inspired by these traditions create your own Christmas tree greetings card to thank your postie at their busiest time of year. Why not make more than one to give to other keyworkers or someone who has helped you this year?

Using materials and equipment that can be found around the home, why not get creative, plan a special delivery for your postie and reflect on our appreciation for our posties this year.

This activity is suitable to be done at home or in schools.
