The Postal Museum opens tender for catering supplier

The Postal Museum is seeking a catering supplier to provide exciting and varied seasonal food and drink for the museum’s onsite café.

Located in the Welcome Space at The Postal Museum, the family-friendly cafe serves the museum’s full range of audiences, providing a welcoming space for all our visitors.

The museum also consists of two unique, dry-hire venues providing space for events ranging from corporate dinners, conferences and awards ceremonies to product launches and parties.

The Mail Rail venue hire space, set up with round tables, and purple and white string lights.

Some of the key aims for the catering service are:

  • Create a good quality and exciting menu offer, that caters for a variety of dietary requirements throughout the year and can be enhanced by seasonal items.
  • Develop an offer that meets the needs of our audiences and provides excellent value for money.
  • Evidence environmental sustainability actions throughout the café operation, contributing to the museum’s Environmental Sustainability objectives.
  • Be family friendly, meeting the requirements of the Kids in Museums Family Friendly Café Standard.
