The original wooden sleepers of Mail Rail need constant care so they can continue to carry thousands of visitors a year through Mail Rail’s tunnels.

Benefits to your company

By supporting a sleeper your company will receive the following:

Engraved plaque on a dedicated Mail Rail sleeper for two years (with an option to renew).

Private Tunnel Walk for up to 24 guests to view your company’s plaque and explore Mail Rail’s network of tunnels on foot with an expert guide. This could be a unique event for your employees, or an engagement experience for your clients.

Options to enhance your Tunnel Walk event with catering add-ons and use of our award-winning event spaces.

Prime position in the Mail Rail tunnels. Your plaque will be installed in an exclusive section within the tunnels on a sleeper by a station platform. This more spacious, lit area is ideal for photographs with your guests and is more visible to The Postal Museum visitors who join our weekly Tunnel Walks.

How to Support a Sleeper

We are offering two options for levels of support, giving flexibility to host one or two Tunnel Walk events with us over the two-year term of your company’s sleeper.

£3,000 donation – One private Tunnel Walk event for up to 24 guests.

£5,000 donation – Two private Tunnel Walk events.
These can be held on two separate dates over the two years (up to 24 guests per event) or on the same day for 48 guests.
