In this workshop

200 years since the birth of Queen Victoria, step back in time to meet a Victorian who explains their unfair postal system and the campaign for letters to cost just one penny. Use drama and role play to tell people’s stories about how the world’s first stamp, the Penny Black changed their lives. Discover how a tiny piece of paper started the communications revolution we live in today.

Availability: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Duration: 45 minutes
