Mail Rail Science Day

    • Best for ages 7 -11 (KS2). All ages welcome.
    • Interactive session: Mail Rail Science Show - Take part in live experiments to power the postal network
    • Mail Rail ride and trail: Ride Mail Rail and follow an exhibition trail
    • Hands-on activities: Investigate Mail Rail objects and STEM activities
    • Exhibition Galleries: Get hands-on in our interactive galleries
    • Sorted! The Postal Play Space: Optional for children aged 8 and under.

    About the day
    On Home Ed Days we don’t take school bookings. Activities are most suitable for particular age groups as indicated.

    Older and younger children are welcome to attend. Bear in mind the content of the activities may not be as engaging for them.

  • Plan your day
    You will book a timeslot to ride Mail Rail. On arrival, you will be given a coloured wristband for access to the Mail Rail Science Show at the time below. Gallery activities are drop-in and will run throughout the day.
