Volunteer with us

Our volunteers offer an authentic voice breathing life into the stories behind communication, ensuring our collections are accessible to all.

Whatever your motivation or location we have an exciting volunteering role to suit you and the time you wish to donate to us.

By giving some of your time to volunteer with us we will support you to:

  • Develop new skills.
  • Meet new people.
  • Take part in unique experiences.

There are a variety of volunteer roles at the museum to choose from.

  • Learning – Be part of the team delivering accessible visits for schools, families and communities, bringing fun, enjoyment and creativity to the museum.
  • Off site – Contribute to our collections without having to leave home by taking part in one of our remote volunteering projects.
