Channel your inner engineer this May half-term with an inventive family programme designed to explore your inner creative. Take part in creating a sustainable city fit for moving the mail.

What’s on

All family activities are included with museum admission along with a ride on Mail Rail, our underground postal railway. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Mini Makers: Make your own cardboard creation

Mail Rail was the solution to a big postie problem. Using a range of recycled and reusable material unleash your imagination and inner inventor.

Craft your very own cardboard creation inspired by postal inventions from the past, present and beyond!

Enjoy a 45-minute session in our play area for children 8 and under.
