Working for our organisation

The Postal Museum tells the story of postal communication and its impact on a global society by bringing five centuries of extraordinary communications history to life as seen through the eyes of the iconic postal service. We aim to inspire everyone to make richer and more meaningful connections in their lives through our activities at the museum and online.

On a visit, experience interactive and family-friendly exhibitions, join special events and learning activities, use modern research facilities, and take an immersive ride on Mail Rail, London’s secret Post Office underground railway.

Behind The Postal Museum is the Postal Heritage Trust, an independent charity created to protect and share this rich history and heritage.

We expect all our staff to share the values that are important to the trust – being open, curious, generous, innovative and playful – and behave in a way that reflects these.
