The Postal Museum and Letter Lounge invite you to a late opening celebrating the lost art of letter writing.

When was the last time you wrote a letter? Everyone loves finding a handwritten letter on the doormat and what better time to get in touch with friends and family than Christmas. Join The Postal Museum and Letter Lounge for an evening celebrating the lost art of letter-writing. We’ll provide a range of refreshments, pens, paper, envelopes and stamps, and late opening of our exhibition for inspiration. All you need is the address of the person you’re writing to and some festive cheer. Pop your finished letter in our special pillar box and we’ll make sure it delivers a smile to your loved one.

Letter Lounge create spaces where you can come along to write the letters you never have time for and enjoy a bit of a social. They’ve hosted events for the V&A Museum of Childhood, Anorak, Crisis, Brighton Dome, Drink Shop Do, and Tatty Devine, inspiring hundreds of unique handwritten letters.

This event takes place at The Postal Museum. For logistical reasons, the Mail Rail trains will not be operating on the night.
