Queen Victoria 200

1 May – 29 June

To mark the birth bicentenary of Queen Victoria, we’ll be looking at stamp artwork that documents the inventions and scientific advances from the Victorian period.

The Norwich Postcode Experiment

2 July – 3 August

To mark the 60th anniversary of the official unveiling of the experiment on 28 July 1959, this display will illustrate the fascinating story of the development of that invaluable element of everyday life, the modern postcode.

The Discovery Room is open from Tuesday to Saturday all year round to visitors who want to delve deeper into the history of the postal service, and study original archive material.
