Join us and Royal College of Arts artist Susie Foster to make your own clay medal to give to someone special or brave. These workshops are inspired by the bravery of unsung heroes of the postal service during the Second World War and all those aboard SS Gairsoppa, a torpedoed ship, sunk carrying letters and precious cargo in 1941. You can explore letters and artefacts recovered from the shipwreck and get a unique insight into the lives of ordinary people in our temporary exhibition Voices from the Deep.

  • Ages: Best for ages 5-11, but all ages welcome.
  • Times: 11.00-13.00 and 14.00-16.00
