A First-Class Christmas
Christmas in May? It might sound way too early but our Events Team is already out and about to promote our unique Mail Rail underground space as the perfect Christmas Party venue.
Things are ramping up in the Events department at The Postal Museum for Event Sales & Marketing Manager, Claire Bastin. With the opening of the museum fast approaching, launch event planning in full swing and the first corporate event happening on the 5th July, we now also have a new addition to support our busy team; Senior Events Coordinator Anna Castles. Enquiries are coming in fast and we are already talking about Christmas!
On a sunny Wednesday and Thursday this month, Claire and Anna, together with the venue’s exclusive caterers, Clerkenwell Green, attended The London Christmas Party Show at the beautiful Christ Church, Spitalfields. With over 70 venue and event suppliers exhibiting at the show, people were in full Christmas spirit.
We launched our inaugural Mail Rail Christmas Party packages to event agencies and corporate clients. It was great to get our offer out there amongst event industry professionals, promoting the Mail Rail space, and what was even nicer is the number of people who were already familiar with the museum and the Mail Rail experience.
People seemed just as excited as we are about the site opening! The train was a hot topic of conversations and it felt that the idea of having it as part of an event experience was an amazing asset.
The new opening of the Postal Museum is such an exciting project to be part of for an event professional as the unique space offers a very different perspective to event planning. A brand-new venue, full of history with its very own miniature trains, – no wonder we can’t wait to get the door open.
